Tamilnadu - My Home State

For a family that has lived in many states, my family prefers Tamilnadu a well developed and perfect homestate. What is not there in Tamilnadu? There is everything in this state. There are temples to see like Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai, old ancient monuments like Tranquebar fort, beaches like the Marina beach among other places.

The people here are hardworking, hospitable, and cultured. They are keen in keeping their surroundings clean. The walls are filled with posters encouraging people to save trees and water. On Sundays, the traffic roads in the city close down for three and a half hours. You can do whatever you want to in these roads. ‘THE HAPPY STREETS’ have been an event that you can only experience in Tamilnadu!!

This state is also the home for the famous classical dance form – Bharathanatayam.  Many of the India’s best colleges are located in this state. Painting, Weaving, and textile mills are well developed. Tamilnadu Is a well developed and is also the home to one of the sweetest languages in the world – Tamizh.

Winning the Science Exhibition!

I never got selected to participate in the finals for the science exhibition for 5 years in a row. Most of the schools in the world have their science exhibitions straight away and who explains the best and brings a good model wins. But the rules are different in our school. First, we have a selection round and then who explains the best and has the best model gets selected for the final round. Artificial Satellite All these years I had explained well but I never had time to make a good model. So, that is the reason why I could not get selected for so many years. But this year fortunately I had the time to make my own.  The topic was about the artificial satellite. So I made a  model of the communication satellite. From the very confusing and Infamous, mathematics to the sleepiness quotient, History, I don’t know anyone who has liked exams! I, too hate exams. I expect the same from you too!   The fear of Examinations or Examophobia as I call it is prevalent over almost every student in India, or even worse, the world! The format of examination is very traumatizing.   The way they exert pressure is very awful!
