City Scare!

It has been a long time since my family shifted from Bangalore to the comparatively small Manchester of the south, Coimbatore and trust me, I hated this decision so much. Yes, I was a little sceptical abut it at the start as I really enjoyed my five years in Bangalore. We lived in Malleshwaram, which if you didn’t know is the Tamil hub of Bangalore and had my school and an ice – cream centre along with a temple right next to my apartment. I still love those five years in ‘Bangs’ as I used to call it, but the prospect of moving back to Coimbatore was both exciting and scary. It was exciting because I was like two years old when my family shifted to Bangalore and I hardly remembered about anything that happened during that time, and I was practically going to live in a new city, study in a completely new school with hopefully new friends and live in my home, which is the only thing I remembered from

It was the sole existence of my life, yet it was the bane of my existence. It was the goal of my life, yet it was my enemy.   It was my destiny, yet it was unable to reach. I don’t want to sound dramatic and all, but it is true! And one more surprise, I finally got it! Before you break your head thinking about what it is, please see and identify what it is! Yes! I just discovered that there are over 8+ Pokemon games for the Nintendo DSi. This got me going. I checked the price of a Nintendo DSi at amazon and g

When I visited Madurai for the first time I was mesmerized by the beauty of Meenakshi, the elegance of Azhagar, the magnificent Murugan at Pazhmudir Cholai and finally, the marvel of the Thirumalai Nayakkar palace. I was enchanted by the sheer brilliance of all architects and artisans who helped in the construction of the following places. I just never wanted to go back to my regular life when I was at this city! I was around third grade when I first visited the city and I wanted to feel mesmerized by visiting Madurai again, but I never got the chance to do so until almost eighth grade, before my term exams. My cousins from the U.S.A. had come to visit us and they wanted to visit Guruvayoor. I did not have any problem with their wish but I suggested a slightly better place. Yes, you all guessed it, Madurai, and my cousins enthusiastically agreed. We had agreed to visit Pazhani on the way back home, as none of us had visited Pazhani before. They were here for only a week, so we
